Walo Market — Official Trading Regulations & FAQ

Welcome to Walo Market. Our platform operates on a secure P2P Escrow model. This means the buyer's funds are frozen safely on the platform's balance sheet and are not released to the seller until the username transfer is fully verified and completed.

Below are the ironclad rules designed to protect honest traders and completely eliminate any incentives for fraud.

1. How the Purchase Works (Step-by-Step)

  1. Selecting a Listing: The buyer finds the desired WhatsApp username and clicks the "Buy" button.
  2. Target Number Capture: Upon checkout, the buyer must enter the exact WhatsApp phone number that will claim the username. This number is completely hidden from the seller and is visible only to support. Requesting a transfer to any other number voids escrow protection.
  3. Escrow Freezing: The buyer's funds are deducted from their available balance and locked by the security system.
  4. Chat Coordination: A live, real-time chat opens directly inside the listing card. Both parties synchronize their timing.
  5. The Transfer: The seller releases the username from their settings, and the buyer instantly claims it on their designated account.
  6. Completion: The buyer confirms receipt, and the frozen funds are credited to the seller's balance.

2. Golden Security Rule: Mandatory Continuous Screen Recording

On the WhatsApp messenger platform, transferring a username occurs via a brief moment of public release (changing it in the settings). Because of this technical limitation, there is always a risk of interception.

To protect yourself in the event of a dispute, BOTH parties ARE REQUIRED to keep a continuous, unedited full-screen video recording from the moment of chat coordination until the transfer is finished.

Seller's Video Requirements:

  • The recording must be smooth, with absolutely no cuts, edits, pauses, or hidden UI elements.
  • The video must clearly capture:
  1. The device's system clock (including seconds) and the active Walo Market order chat.
  2. Navigating into WhatsApp settings, showing the current phone number and the active username.
  3. The exact split-second the seller changes the premium username to something else (we strongly advise changing it to a long, random string of characters to disorient outside automated scraping bots), thereby releasing the original name.

Buyer's Video Requirements:

  • The recording must be smooth, with absolutely no cuts, edits, or post-production manipulation.
  • The video must clearly capture:
  1. The device's system clock and the active Walo Market chat, waiting for the seller's confirmation signal.
  2. The buyer must already be sitting on their WhatsApp settings profile screen (on the exact target number specified during purchase).
  3. The exact millisecond the seller gives the command, followed by the buyer typing the username and hitting "Save", resulting in either success or a "Username Taken" error.

3. Dispute Resolution & Anti-Sniping Seizure Policy

If a username is intercepted (sniped) by a third-party account during the transfer process, we execute our Zero-Incentive Seizure Protocol. We do not guess or deduce whose bot or friend intercepted the name; instead, we destroy the financial viability of the scam using absolute math:

CRITICAL FUNDS SEIZURE POLICY (BURNING POLICY):

If a dispute is raised for a sniped username, and BOTH parties submit flawless, unedited video evidence (proving the seller released it instantly and the buyer claimed it instantly, yet it landed on an outside account) — THE TRANSACTION FUNDS WILL BE PERMANENTLY CONFISCATED BY THE PLATFORM.

  • The Buyer WILL NOT receive a refund (this completely blocks the exploit where a buyer uses a sniper friend to intercept the name and then gets their money back for free).
  • The Seller WILL NOT receive a payout (this blocks the exploit where a seller drops the name to an alternative account and attempts to keep the cash).

Why this eliminates fraud:

  • If the Buyer attempts to scam (via a sniper friend): The buyer still loses their $100 to the platform, while their friend gets the username. The buyer ends up paying full price for the name anyway. Financial gain = 0.
  • If the Seller attempts to scam (via an alternate account): The seller receives $0 payout, and the username is simply shuffled to their other account. The seller gave away their asset for free to themselves. Financial gain = 0.

Collusion & Multi-Accounting Penalties

If an internal investigation proves (via network logs, exact server timestamps, or linked data vectors) that the intercepting account belongs to or is associated with either participant:

  1. The offender's account will be permanently banned via hardware, IP, and session blacklisting.
  2. Any remaining active balance on their platform profile will be forfeited and seized completely with zero right to withdrawal.

4. Phone Number Privacy

  • Sellers provide their holding number when creating a listing.
  • Buyers provide their destination number during checkout.
  • Neither party will EVER see each other's phone numbers in the chat. This data is completely restricted to protect you from harassment, off-site solicitation, or targeted spam. It is accessible strictly to the Walo Market administration for video verification during active dispute cases.
